It was a night for books and stories at the Malletts Bay School on Thursday, March 3rd when the Children’s Literacy Foundation (CLiF) visited Colchester. Teacher Jennifer Hoenigsberg applied for a CLiF grant to support New American families. The grant provided an evening of storytelling and parent education. Every child that attended chose two new books from a vast collection provided by CLiF.
The Children’s Literacy Foundation is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to inspire a love of reading and writing among children up to age 12 throughout New Hampshire and Vermont.
