Would you like to attend a breakfast with the Colchester Community Development Corporation (CCDC)?
The CCDC is surveying the business community and trying to provide a variety of events and outlets that will assist Colchester businesses, and on Wednesday, March 12 at 8:00 a.m., it is hosting its “Health Care Breakfast” at the Hampton Inn in Colchester.
A number of presenters will share information designed to help businesses stay up to date on pressing issues relating to health care in the state.
Al Gobeille, chair of the Green Mountain Care Board, will offer his perspective as a business owner on how the rollout is going, what glitches need to be fixed, and how to plan for future health care costs.
Cathy Davis, the vice president for strategy and public affairs with the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber of Commerce, will share some of the concerns that she hears from the business community. She will also discuss upcoming legislative actions and what the chamber is doing to advocate for the business community.
Cassandra Gekas, planning and policy chief with Vermont Health Connect, will discuss what the business community should plan for, and she will provide updates about what the state is doing concerning health insurance.
The breakfast is free and open to all Colchester businesses and residents. Interested in attending? Please RSVP by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at (802) 343-4628.
