CMS to Offer Community Book Group Opportunity

Colchester Middle School will soon host a community book group for mothers, fathers, grandparents, or anyone else who is parenting boys between the ages of 8 and 18.

CMS counselor Kara Pawlusiak and Library Media Specialist Lisa Buckton will facilitate the group, which will read Masterminds and Wingmen: Helping Our Boys Cope with Schoolyard Power, Locker-Room Tests, Girlfriends, and the New Rules of Boy World by the New York Times bestselling author Rosalind Wiseman.

The group will meet on Tuesday, October 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the CMS library to get books and to conduct a pre-read discussion. The follow-up meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m., also in the CMS library.

Those interested in participating in this group are asked to e-mail Kara Pawlusiak at pawlusiakk@csdvt.org or to call her at (802) 264-5817.
