Would Your Three-Year-Old Like To Be a Peer In Our EEE Program?

Calling all three-year-olds!

Colchester School District seeks typically developing peers to participate in our Essential Early Education (EEE) program at Malletts Bay School. Preschool screenings—which will last approximately sixty to ninety minutes—will take place on Thursday, August 29 beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Malletts Bay School.

There will be two preschool classes for three-year-olds this year. The first will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and the second will take place on Thursdays and Fridays from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The preschool classes, which will follow the school calendar (observing all school holidays and vacations) for their duration, will begin September 3 and end in late May.

Peers will model language, social communication, and play for students learning these skills. They will develop friendships while gaining confidence and school-readiness skills in a literacy-rich environment with experienced educators and support personnel.

Participating children must be three years old and live in Colchester. Transportation will not be provided for participants.
