Malletts Bay School third- and fourth-grade art students have been busy creating valentines for the Colchester community’s veterans.

As part of the students’ work in Mrs. DeCoff’s class, they have spent time learning about who veterans are and why it is important that we think of them often and thank them for their service. A parent volunteer delivered the valentines to the VA Outpatient Clinic at Fort Ethan Allen.

MBS paid tribute to our veterans earlier this school year, as well; fifth graders did various projects honoring the nation’s servicemen and servicewomen as part of CSD’s ongoing efforts in facilitating civic engagement.
