CMS’s guidance department and the Caring Cougars are selling pink bracelets and pink ribbon lapel pins again this year to help raise funds for cancer research. Additionally, many students, faculty, and staff members are teaming up to participate in the Making Strides walking event on Sunday, October 21, and they welcome community members to join them. Participants will arrive at South Burlington High School at 10:00 a.m., where a shuttle bus will transport them to Dorset Park. The pre-walk activities will begin at 11:00 a.m.
CMS’s Principal Gruss, Assistant Principal Gillard, and Assistant Principal Yagoda are offering a celebratory event for the group that raises the most funds for the event, and Mr. Epstein will take on a student challenge if the school’s fundraising goal is met.
