Meet MBS’s Study Island Champions!

A group of Malletts Bay School students accepted Principal Julie Benay’s summer challenge to work with Study Island, a web-based program designed as an instruction, practice, assessment, and reporting system.

The purpose of Study Island is to help students master the skills required in Vermont’s Grade Level Expectations (GLEs) as assessed by the annual NECAP assessments.

Pictured below are third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade students who earned the greatest number of “blue ribbons” using the program over the summer.

Catherine Jones, Jack Moore, Petra Bajuk, Max Grenier, Josh Siegal, Leah Lamothe, and Katy Mazza earned the greatest number of blue ribbons over the summer

Kudos to these students for striving to keep their skills sharp over the summer months and for their dedication to their academic success!
