Did you know that the Colchester School Board welcomes the use of school facilities for community activities?
Although the district must charge as closely as can be determined the actual cost for the use of the facilities, any community group interested in using them for civic, cultural, recreational, or educational purposes is welcomed to do so.
Interested parties may contact the appropriate school to make the reservation, complete a Building and Grounds Use Application, and, if necessary, arrange (including payment) for security or police coverage. If security or police coverage is required, the interested parties must inform the Colchester Police Department (264-5556), the principal of the facility being used, and the school district’s maintenance foreman (264-5975) of the details of the security arrangement.
Completed applications are submitted to the building administrator, and upon approval, the district’s administrative office will return the application to the party along with the terms and conditions for use.
