Student Spotlight: Competitive Angler Making a Splash

A Colchester High School student is making a splash with his angling prowess.

CHS student Ben Seaman at the Bass Anglers Sportsman Society’s Junior Eastern Division Bass Tournament in Boston, Massachusetts.

CHS student Ben Seaman, a competitive bass fisherman representing Vermont, recently took third place in Bass Anglers Sportsman Society (BASS) Federation Nation Eastern Division Championship on the Mystic and Charles rivers—which included competitors from as far away as Spain! (BASS is an international fishing organization with more than a half million members worldwide.)

Ben is a highly accomplished angler, fishing on a national level representing Vermont and on a regional level representing the high school. He has even earned college scholarship funds as a result of his impressive angling skills.

Congratulations, Ben!
